Whyyyyyy?

So here's the thing. There's this guy that I havnt talked to for a good 3-4 months now... Otu of no where he came back and we started talking like that gap never even happened... But then I told him something I had been wanting to tell him for a long time ><'' I had told him that I stoped talking to him because he had gotten a gf abd I was going to ask him out to another date, and was hisfault me and him never gitthe chance and that now was too late due to the fact I had a bf and I thought he forgot about me.

He didn't catch that end part at all cause that's when he told me "well I'm single I have been for three months now" I smiled at the fact he completely blew over what I had told him then sighed and told him, "I'm not. I havnt been for the past month and 3weeks." (Yes I keep track) and weelll he then finially admitted it to being his fault. But then he said he still liked me UGH!! Why is it that I get this attention when I'm taken and NOT when I'm single grrrr!

I told him that I might not be single for a while or any time soon. He said he can wait. I replied saying "what if it takes months? Years? Decaades? Or life times?" He said hed be there waiting for me. I had asked him "so you'll wait practically forever for some one who may never be single again?" And he said yes... YES!!! >< Am I really that kind and careing and special???

Sigh.

well because of this I've been thinking as nice as it is for me to have some one waiting for me... I can't afford any more screw ups I Love my boyfriend and I really would never ever want to lose him so though its sweet to have this guy here for me, he is no more then a friend to me now and as much as it may pain that guy to hear that but my boyfriend is my main priority and he's mine and I hope to be with him for as long as I can manage NOT to screw up..
But here's a question I'd like to ask my bf now;

If I had to go someplace for a while and I didn't know when I'd be back would YOU wait months or years or decades or life times for me to come back?? Even if you knew it was a slim to none chance that I would?

(Sigh. This is sad to say but it think I might know your answer already...)

But I guess that's a question for all couples to ponder this holiday...
